Consider the possibility of thinking about your energy climate as all of the elements you invite into the “field” of your life. This distinction is inspired by my interest and study in the field of epigenetics. Epigenetics is the study of how your environment and behaviors cause changes that affect how your genes work. Simply put, how you are as a person is defined by your reaction and interaction to circumstances generated from outside and inside you.
In his groundbreaking book “The Biology of Belief,” Dr. Bruce Liptpn says “Just like a single cell, the character of our lives is determined not by our genes, but our responses to the environmental signals that propel life.”
Think about your life as a mini universe quantum field that is connected to everything in the larger “source” field. Within your universe is the potential and possibility of anything happening by where you place your attention. Who you are as a person is reflective of the attention you place on what flows through you as you.
Your energy climate involves all of the influences that you allow to have an impact on your life experience. As an example, imagine growing up in a relational network where everyone in that network is an athlete. From your birth up through the formative years of your life, you are exposed to everything athletic. It becomes no surprise that as you grow up, athletics becomes your primary interest either as a hobby or profession. Now, consider growing up in a disadvantaged situation and your relationships are all about lack, poverty, crime and drug abuse. If that is your environment, then epigenetically speaking, you end up becoming a product of that.
Fortunately, humans are granted the gift of free will, which means that we can make the choice to live the life we desire…or not.
As you consider your energy climate, know that everything in your universe, or “climate” is all about your reaction response to the energy and information of your external and internal circumstance stimuli. External circumstance stimuli are all of the things in your outer environment including where you live, who is in your relational network, and all of the information you allow into your energetic space (music, media, other people, etc.). Internal circumstance stimuli include your thoughts, feelings, beliefs, values, past experiences, and everything you have downloaded unconsciously about how to live your life.
The idea is that you create your energy climate around you that is of the highest vibration and serves your highest good. Knowing where you hold your vibration and the feeling frequency of that vibration can have a major impact on your internal energetic climate.
What follows is a list of some distinctions that you can embrace to develop a positive energy climate. As you reflect on the distinctions, jot down two or three actions that you can take to allow the distinction to move and flow through you as you.
1. Be at one with the “source.”
2. Elevate your personal relational amplitude.
3. Have a clear vision for your life supported by an elevated positive emotion.
4. Manage your mind and become a master at observing your thoughts and feelings.
5. Practice exceptional self care.
6. Choose your partner and friends carefully.
7. Operate from a consciousness of love, joy, peace and gratitude.
8. Be mindful about the information you allow into your energy field (for example-social media, corporate news, gossip, etc).
9. Learn something new everyday.
10. Give service to others expecting nothing in return.
It is important to be intentional about what you have in your energy climate. The climate you have can determine whether your life is one of survival, or one that serves and reflects the highest in you. Alex Elle says “Energy is contagious, positive and negative alike. I will forever be mindful of what and who I am allowing into my space.”
And So It Is.
