Embracing the “CALM”

Any fool can sleep, but wise is the one who rises before the sun.” Shakti Parwha Kaur Khalsa

As I actively engage my meditation practice, and specifically as I channel QiGong energy, I frequently find myself awake in the middle of the night. I began to regularly get up and engage my QiGong practice during this time. Indra Kaur from the website The Secrets of Yoga.com, suggests that the best time to meditate is either early in the morning or late at night due to the world being quieter at those times. She also suggests that meditation early in the morning is good because the stomach is empty.

An important distinction I know in my study of consciousness and existence is that the “vibration of the universe” is very intense between 2:00 AM and sunrise. The law of vibration states that “anything that exists in our universe, whether seen or unseen, broken down into and analyzed in its purest and most basic form, consists of energy or light which resonates and exists as a vibratory frequency or pattern.” The Hermetic teachings of the Kybalion states that “the vibration of spirit is at such an infinite rate of intensity and rapidity that it is practically at rest-just as the rapidly moving wheel seems to be motionless.” I choose to call that high vibrational state, the frequency of the Source, the spirit of all creation, the “CALM.”

Here is what happened one time when I embraced the “CALM.” The creative source woke me up out of my sleep and invited me to engage in the power dance of destiny through the QiGong. I was gifted with the affirmation:

I AM THAT...TUNED IN...TAPPED IN...AND AT ONE WITH THE HIGHEST VIBRATION OF THE SOURCE...I AM.

This affirmation became my mantra as I moved through the QiGong energy cultivation postures.

Yes...between 2:00 AM and sunrise…

In the sanctity of my living room…

In yoga with the Source and channeling this high vibrational state…

Fueled by the energy cultivated by the universal life force as it flowed through me as me…

As I declared higher quality values intentionally deliberated and claimed in yoga with the “CALM”...

Knowing that as I embraced the “CALM’ the “CALM’ embraced me.

There it was. As I went back to sleep, I allowed the creativity of theta brain wave activity firmly install the “CALM” in my subconscious mind. When I awakened and began to experience the upcoming day, I knew that my subconscious, conscious, and superconscious minds were all in alignment signalling the manifestation-on all levels- of I AM THAT I AM.

So, if you find yourself regularly waking up in the middle of the night, instead of “thinking'' that you have insomnia, consider the possibility that you are being invited to embrace the “CALM.”

Also know that this new state of conscious awareness is the realm of spirit, your primary operating system.

The world of form becomes your playground.
